Free Christmas Shopping Bus

Free Christmas Shopping Bus

Rutland County Council has arranged a FREE Christmas Shopper Bus to Peterborough for residents on Thursday 13th December 2018. The bus will be operated by Mark Bland Travel.

Passenger Notices will appear at the appropriate bus stops shortly.

Remembrance Sunday 11th November 2018

Remembrance Sunday 11th November 2018

Next Sunday is the 100th Anniversary of the end of the Great War 1914-1918.

There are special arrangements being made for this day as well as to remember the Fallen.

The Remembrance Church service will start at 1030 and a wreath will be laid on the Village War Memorial at 1100.

Police warning on theft from vehicles

Police warning on theft from vehicles

The Police have reported a spike in theft from vehicles parked in isolated locations. There is a short video which has been put out on the Leicestershire Police Twitter account @rutlandpolice as well as through our facebook page for Rutland Police.

Please do not park in isolated locations if possible and not to leave any valuables in their cars.

No 9 Bus timetable is being reduced

Bus service updates

Centrebus Service 9 - Oakham to Stamford

Centrebus have given notice that they will be reducing the Service 9 timetable from 2 September 2018 by withdrawing their 4pm journey Monday to Friday and all Saturday journeys.

The Council is currently looking at possible replacement journeys with other transport operators to fill gaps in the Service 9 timetable and maintain service levels... Read More »
