Mallard Pass Solar Farm Action Group
The Mallard Pass Solar Farm Action Group have issued a leaflet to all residents in 20 villages in Rutland and Lincolnshire urging them to oppose this scheme. Theur leaflet is attached.

Pickworth Road Closure
The bottom end of the Pickworth road will be closed for the Jubilee Beacon lighting from 8.00pm to 10.00pm on Thursday 2nd June. Diversion will be via Smiths which will be two way with marshals to direct traffic.

Resurfacing of the southbound carriagway of the A1
The south bound carriage way of the A1 is scheduled to be resurfaces commencing 24th July and will last to October. A ll work will be overnight.

Jubilee celebrations in Great Casterton
Preparations for this are well advanced. The programme is as follows:
Week commencing 30th May the village will be decorated with flags and bunting for the occasion.Thursday 2nd June at 8.00pm reception in the Church followed by torchlight procession to grass triangle at the crossroads, 9.15 lighting of the Jubilee beacon.Friday 3rd June. 1.00pm. Elderly targeted at Cash Machines
The Police are warning elderly residents to be vigilant when withdrawing money from cash machines.
It follows a small number of thefts from victims who have typically been approached mid-transaction and distracted or pushed to one side.
The victim's account has then had the maximum withdrawal taken in some cases.
Officers are investigating the incidents but are issuing the following advice:

Bus Services over Easter
Over the Easter period there will be no Rutland bus services on Good Friday (15th April 2022) except for Delaine who will operate a Saturday service from 0810, and no services on Easter Monday (18th April 2022).
