Chicane at Little Casterton

The chicane on the approach to Little Casterton from Great Casterton is being moved further out of the village, but still within the 30mph zone. This will give a better line of site and avoid near misses.

Police warning on theft from vehicles

Police warning on theft from vehicles

The Police have reported a spike in theft from vehicles parked in isolated locations. There is a short video which has been put out on the Leicestershire Police Twitter account @rutlandpolice as well as through our facebook page for Rutland Police.

Please do not park in isolated locations if possible and not to leave any valuables in their cars.

Don't get caught out by this Fraud

People are being called by Asian sounding lady, from HMRC, to say that the person has not paid tax on their pension and the case is in court today and they must make payment.

This call is then supposedly put through to senior manager Mr Ralph Buck, also Asian sounding man, who then goes on to say he is trying to help them sort this out, but that if they don't the Police will be coming to arrest them... Read More »
